Rodger L. Smith graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Speech in 1973. He earned his JD at George Mason University and was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1977. He was later admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 1978 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court Eastern and Western District of Virginia.

LEGAL ASSISTANT
- Must have substantial law office experience
- Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness
- Handle communication with clients, witnesses, etc.
- Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Monitor deadlines and maintain calendars
- Previous law office experience with Domestic, Social Security Disability, Personal Injury, Criminal, and Civil cases required
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple activities and work under pressure

Salary: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
